Whilst in residence children who stay at Stewart House participate in health and safety programs delivered by Life Education.
Lessons take place in the cinema on-site at Stewart House. The Life Education programs empower young people to make healthy and safe choices now and in the future.
Programs are developed and adapted to suit the knowledge and needs of each group. Topics covered include body knowledge, safety with medicines, smoking prevention programs, alcohol education, cyber safety and developing and maintaining positive relationships. Topics for secondary students may also include drug education (legal/illegal drugs), safe and healthy choices.
These programs are provided free of charge through the generous support of the Rotary Club of Brookvale.
