Gifts for the children

Children aged 7 to 14 can take gifts home from our High Five Shop as a reward for actively participating in the Stewart House Program

During their stay, children take part in a rewards program where they earn High Five Dollars for upholding the three core values of Stewart House:

  • Being kind and fair
  • Being safe
  • Having a go

These “dollars” can then be spent in the High Five Shop, which is stocked with brand-new, age-appropriate toys and gifts. Children redeem their dollars on the day before departure; it’s always an exciting moment!

Children celebrating a birthday while at Stewart House also get to take home a special gift from a range of new items. It’s a real highlight of their stay.

How you can get involved

This fun and positive part of the program wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of schools, individuals, clubs and organisations who run Gift Drives throughout the year to help us replenish our stock.

If you or your organisation would like to donate end-of-line stock or suitable gifts, please contact our office to start the conversation. Your support helps us put big smiles on children’s faces – we’d love to hear from you!
