At Stewart House, we’ve been surrounded by kindness for almost 100 years. From schools to community groups, workplaces to individuals, your support helps us provide care, health, and education for children in need.
Whether it’s a gold coin mufti day, a trivia night with friends, or a workplace team challenge, every effort makes a difference. By fundraising together, we can continue to offer children a safe place to heal, grow, and build brighter futures.
We’ve created resources to make it simple, including posters, templates and a Fundraising Toolkit. Please contact our team for your authority to fundraise on our behalf. Our team look forward to supporting, guiding and celebrating your efforts, so please get in touch!
School Fundraising
We are proud to be the NSW Department of Education’s Charity of Choice
Schools have always been at the heart of our story, and we depend on fundraising support from public schools to deliver our residential program free of charge. Since 1931, teachers, students and parents have helped us give thousands of children a much-needed break from difficult circumstances.
Getting involved is easy and inspiring:
- Participate in our annual Envelope Drive Raffle and Stewart House Pyjama Day
- Organise a fun school event: mufti day, book fair, sausage sizzle or fun run
- Sign up to regular pre-tax fortnightly donations through salary packaging provider Smart
Community Fundraising
From Rotary clubs to sporting groups, from trivia nights to bake sales, community support keeps Stewart House strong. You can rally friends, family or neighbours to create a fundraiser that suits your style.
Ideas to spark inspiration:
- Host a social event: birthday party, trivia or bingo night
- Organise a raffle or fitness challenge. Run in support of Stewart House in iconic annual Sydney fun runs like the Beach2Beach and Manly Fun Run.
Workplace Fundraising
Workplace giving is a fantastic way to bring staff together and make a real impact. From casual dress days to team fundraising events, there are plenty of ways to get colleagues involved.
It’s also a great way to explore a Corporate Partnership, aligning your organisation’s values with lasting social impact.
Many NSW Department of Education staff already support Stewart House through workplace giving. Read more about regular giving from your pay here.
