RECENT EVENTS:
Stewart House Day: Annual Presentation Ceremony – 10th May 2019
On Friday 10th May 2019, we celebrated Stewart House Day and recognised our most generous donors from 2018 at our Annual Presentation Ceremony.
It was a delight to host so many of our valued supporters at our Presentation Ceremony including the individuals, schools, corporate organisations, community clubs and groups who help us make a difference to the lives of the children that visit Stewart House every year.
On hand to present the awards were James Griffin MP, Member for Manly, our Board Members and Alan Laughlin from the Friends of Stewart House. Local primary school representatives from Harbord Public School, ably performed as ushers, tour-guides and Choir singers on the day.

Cromer Golf Club Annual Charity Golf Day – 28th May 2019
We are grateful to Cromer Golf Club for once again choosing to support Stewart House at their Annual Charity Golf Day.
Cromer Golf Club, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, has been a strong supporter of the local community for over 20 years. Each year, the Club hosts a Charity Golf event to raise much needed funds for their charity of choice.
This year, the event was held on Tuesday 28th May 2019, and the nominated charities were Stewart House and The Burdekin Association – two local charities helping young people and their families.
As recipients of the Stewart House Gold Sponsorship Award for 2018, Cromer Golf Club remain a highly valued corporate sponsor of Stewart House. We thank them for their continued support on our journey to change children’s lives.

Donation Drive draw winner 2019
Congratulations to the winner of our Stewart House 2019 Donation Drive draw!
We would like to thank the many schools who supported our 2019 Donation Drive. We received some 40,000 entries to the draw this year.
The draw was held on site, at Stewart House in Curl Curl, on Friday 31st May 2019. The lucky winners of a holiday worth $4,000, a young family from Harrington Park Public School, are from the Macarthur region of south-western Sydney in New South Wales.
We wish them an enjoyable trip!
Fundraising and in Kind Support
It is with sustained community support that we can make a difference to children’s lives.
At Stewart House, children in need from all parts of NSW and the ACT are guided through a 12-day program, designed to boost self-esteem and promote a healthier lifestyle. Our program is delivered through a blend of health screening and education, and out of school activities. It runs year-round, in parallel with NSW Public School terms.
Rising costs year-on-year continue to apply pressure on our ability to meet the growing demand of children in need each year. Consequently, it takes the dedicated support of a community of fundraisers including corporations, schools, and individuals to ensure we can continue to make a lasting difference to the lives of the 1,700 public school children that visit Stewart House each year.
