STEWART HOUSE PYJAMA DAY – 20TH AUGUST 2025

Get ready for a first!

We are hoping that this will be a regular event each year…are you going to be the school with the largest number of kids in PJs?

On Wednesday, 20 August 2025, we’re inviting all NSW public schools to join our first-ever Stewart House Pyjama Day! It’s a fun way for students to ditch their uniforms for PJs, all while helping other kids who desperately need a break.

Your contribution makes a direct difference:

  • Every gold coin adds up to give children comfort and care during their stay at Stewart House.
  • $182 funds all program benefits for one day, including meals, accommodation, health activities, and education.
  • $2,000 fully supports a student from your region for their life-changing 12-day program, offering comprehensive care and support.

There’s no registration required. Just pop the date in your calendar and join in!

By participating in Pyjama Day, your school community helps us continue this vital work, giving kids a safe place to rest, heal, learn and build brighter futures.

We would love this to be a “students helping students” initiative so please select some people from your leadership team or parliament to collect and count the money and hand it to your office staff. Send us a photo and tell us how many students at your school got involved!

How to send your Pyjama Day funds:

  1. Collect & Count: Staff collect and count all donations.
  2. Bank It: Deposit the total into your school’s account as you normally would.
  3. Pay Online: Head to www.stewarthouse.org.au/donate to pay the full amount. When you reach the drop-down fields, select:
    • ‘School Donation’
    • ‘PJ Day’

A tax-compliant receipt will be automatically issued to the nominated email address at checkout. Please keep this for your school’s records.

Question: Is there another day we could do it? We’re busy on Wednesday, 20th August.
Answer: No problem…just try to do it as close to that as possible!

Question: Can we donate more than a $2 coin?
Answer: Of course you can!

Question: Can we use your logo and key messages?
